Meet the maker

Hi, I’m James, the founder and technical lead here at HardGaming. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been that person who couldn’t leave a computer alone—I had to understand how it worked, how to make it faster, and how to fix it when it broke. That obsession turned into a career as a Linux admin and hardware engineer, where I’ve picked up a thing or two about keeping servers running at their best.

Back in 2021, I saw how careless most hosting companies were and decided to start my own. My goal was to provide a hosting experience that’s built for gamers, by someone who actually gets it. I’m hands-on every day, making sure HardGaming stays true to that mission.

When I’m not tweaking servers or working on upgrades, I’m gaming (of course) or brainstorming ways to improve what we do. HardGaming and being the best game server host is my passion, so thanks for letting us host your world—and keep on gaming!
