What we actually collect — in plain English
The short version: we ask for the minimum we need to run your servers and bill you. The lawyer-approved version is in the sections below — this one is for humans.
What we collect
  • Your email and a username — so we can log you in and send account notices. We don't ask for your real name.
  • A hashed password — scrambled one-way; we can never read the real one.
  • Your server configs, share lists, and payment history — so your stuff works next time you log in.
  • Your IP address on sensitive actions (login, server create/delete, payments) — for security auditing and abuse prevention.
What we don't do
  • We never see your card number. Stripe handles card data directly in your browser; we only get a receipt ID.
  • No trackers. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no PostHog — nothing following you around the site.
  • No session replay, no heatmaps. When something crashes, our error tracker scrubs names, emails, and tokens before logging anything.
  • We don't sell, rent, or trade your data. Ever.
Where your data lives
Everything runs on HardGaming-owned infrastructure — your account, your servers, our error tracker. Two outside services see narrow slices of your data so we can actually charge you and email you:
  • Stripe processes your card. They see what you paid for and how much.
  • Proton Mail (a privacy-focused email provider based in Switzerland) delivers your transactional emails — receipts, password resets, server alerts. They see your email address and basic order info (what you bought and how much), because that's what's inside the email itself.
That's the full list. Nobody else.
Collection of your Personal Information
In order to better provide you with products and services offered, HardGaming LLC may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:
  • First and Last Name
  • Mailing Address
  • E-mail Address
If you purchase HardGaming LLC's products and services, we collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction.
